Southery Playgroup is an outstanding setting located in the small village of Southery.
Southery Playgroup has been running for over 30 years and has gone from strength to strength. Our building complies with Ofsted regulations to be able to cover every childcare requirement and standard of care. We offer exceptional childcare for children aged 2 till 5 years, delivered by 5 friendly, welcoming, fully qualified members of staff. We are a strong experienced team, covering a wide range of experiences and qualifications, a number of us have been with us for many years. Our staff are dedicated to have great pride in striving to improve the setting.
We cater for children from 2 to 5 years of age. The Playgroup is set out in one main room. Which offers children the access to a secure enclosed all-weather outdoor play area. This provides the children with continuous free flow indoor/outdoor play. This encourages independence, develops confidence and provides challenging and secure environments for exploring and learning. We also offer continuous opportunities to play in our outdoor area and within the parts of the school grounds including in their garden. Indoors we have a main room which includes creative spaces where the children can be messy and adventurous with their play and creativity. Outdoors we have access to climbing apparatus, and opportunities to play with other resources including a lovely mud kitchen, sand pit and bug hotel. We also have an area for the children who want to take time out or enjoy their imaginary play. Additionally there is the school playground where the children can ride on bikes.
Our aim is to create a caring family environment with lots of educational and fun activities and opportunities thrown in.

All day : 09:00 am till 15:00 pm
Morning session : 09:00 am till 11:45 am
Afternoon session : 12:15 pm till 15:00 pm
